Eligibility

The Utica Academy for International Studies has 125 available seats for incoming 9th grade students.

Grade 8 students must be enrolled in Math 8, Algebra I or a higher mathematics class to apply to the program. Algebraic Thinking courses do not meet minimum mathematics standards for admission. Students must have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher as reported on their Middle School or Junior High School transcripts.

Enrollment Period

Open enrollment begins November 29, 2010. Applications are due on January 14, 2011.
