"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes." ~ Marcel Proust.

I believe that education is the key for young adults.  As a teacher, I motivate students to ascertain their strengths and identify and improve their weaknesses.  I believe that my instructional abilities and curricular experience combined with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic make me both approachable and a challenging role model to my students.  I maintain a passionate commitment to student development and the learning experience and to designing courses that are challenging, enriching and innovative to address the unique needs of all students.  Having been trained in Algebra I function based training as well as having extensive experiences instructing Geometry, I hope to bring an inquiry based and hands-on approach to the instruction of Mathematics.  Utilizing investigation and discovery using technology and a host of instructional practices, I am committed to making Mathematics accessible, challenging and exciting for students in my class.
